Former Manchester United striker, Wayne Rooney, has claimed Tottenham Hotspur have been caught up in a relegation battle.
Rooney, Speaking on BBC Sport on Monday, said Spurs’ poor form could see them relegated.
Thomas Frank’s team put up another bad performance last weekend, losing 2-0 to Manchester United.
They are currently in 15th place in the league table, six points above the relegation zone.
Rooney said, “You’d have to say they are [in a relegation battle] with their current form.
“West Ham have been in form, Nottingham Forest pick up results here and there.
“I think they (Tottenham) will definitely be looking over their shoulders.”
