Businessman, Isaac Fayose, is of the opinion that the Igbo people are easily influenced by money and can be bought to do the bidding of their paymasters.

In a video shared online, Fayose reflected on how the Yorubas were been able to rally round to make sure that their own secessionist champion, Sunday Igboho, was released after he was arrested for pushing for the creation of Yoruba nation. He stated that all the Igbos in Nigeria have gone silence since the incarceration IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu and are frolicking with the same people who arrested and have kept Kanu in prison.
