Npfl Reschedules Rivers United’s Postponed Fixtures

The Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, have fixed a date for Rivers United’s rescheduled fixtures.

The Pride of Rivers have five outstanding fixtures in the NPFL.

The games were postponed due to their involvement in the CAF Champions League.

Rivers United’s matchday 22 fixture against Kwara United billed for Ilorin will take place on Wednesday, 18th February.

Their week 25 encounter against Barau FC which will be played in Port Harcourt has been fixed for Wednesday, 25 February.

Rivers United’s matchday 23 clash against El-Kanemi Warriors initially fixed for Wednesday, 28 January will now hold on Wednesday, 4 March at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt.

The Port Harcourt-based side’s clash with Shooting Stars earlier billed for Sunday, 1 February will now be played on Thursday, 12 March in Abeokuta.

Rivers United’s trip to be Minna against Niger Tornadoes has been rescheduled for Thursday, 19 March at the Lafia City Stadium.

Finidi George’s side will be aiming to get positive results in the games to continue their push for a second NPFL title.
