Juventus manager, Luciano Spalletti has hailed two Galatasaray players, Victor Osimhen and Mauro Icardi, ahead of both sides’ UEFA Champions League tie on Tuesday night.

Spalletti acknowledged the exceptional abilities of both forwards, adding that they are strong and the best strategy to neutralize their impact is to limit their possession of the ball.

The first leg of the Champions League last-16 playoff will take place at Rams Park, where Galatasaray will welcome Juventus.

In his pre-match interview, Spalletti said (via Cumhuriyet): “Osimhen and Icardi are very strong footballers, their characteristics are different.

“When they play together, they can create an encyclopedia of number 9s. They both have extraordinary talent, and the solution is to keep them as far away from the ball.”

After the Champions League first leg tie, Juventus will host Galatasaray in the return leg next week.
