Nasarawa United technical adviser, Mbwas Mangut, says that they have shifted their focus to their next league fixture following an end to the unbeaten run in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.

The Solid Miners five-game unbeaten run was halted by Katsina United, who handed them 1-0 defeat.

Nasarawa United will do battle with Bendel Insurance at the Lafia City Stadium this weekend.

Bendel Insurance have only lost once in their last 14 NPFL matches.

Mangut said that the target is to reclaim top position on the league standings.

“We remain focused on our set goals, and we will regroup to reclaim our top-of-the-table status in our subsequent games,” Mangut told Nasarawa United’s media.

Nasarawa United currently occupy fourth position with 41 points from 26 matches.
