Tottenham Hotspur legend, Glenn Hoddle and Arsenal icon, Martin Keown have criticized Arsenal after their latest draw against Wolves.

They think the Gunners are starting to lose confidence after drawing with Brentford and Wolves recently.

Arsenal lost a two-goal advantage and ended up drawing 2-2 with Wolves, who are near the bottom of the Premier League and had only nine points from their first 26 matches before the game.

aka put Arsenal ahead when Martin Odegaard was injured, and he scored the first goal just five minutes in by heading in a cross from Declan Rice.

Even though they were not playing at their best, Arsenal scored again in the second half with Piero Hincapie and seemed to be on their way to another victory.

Three points would have put Arsenal seven points ahead of second-placed Manchester City, but Wolves made an unexpected comeback.

Hugo Bueno gave the team hope with a great goal just before the hour mark. Then, in the last moments of the game, Tom Edozie scored, helping Wolves get their tenth point of the season.

After Arsenal’s really sad draw, Saka talked to the media and said the team’s dressing room was ‘very flat.’

“Its very flat,” he said to Sky Sports.

“I’m really upset with the outcome and especially with how we performed in the second half. It wasn’t even close to the standard we’ve been aiming for this season.

“It’s time for us to think about the recent games and fix the problems right away so we can start winning again and create a good run of wins. We’ve lost some of that positive momentum lately,” he said.

When asked if he and his teammates were feeling the pressure as Arsenal try to win their first Premier League title in 22 years, Saka said, “No, I don’t think about all of that.

“I just think we need to go back to our usual level and make sure we do the basic things right.

“We have more than enough good skill in this team to win games, especially the ones where we’ve been losing points lately. We just need to fix those things, and that’s all we’re focusing on right now.”

Arsenal legend, Martin Keown said he ‘couldn’t disagree with anything’ Saka said during his post-match interview.

Keown said on Premier League Productions, “I can’t disagree with anything he’s saying, but what he’s also saying is that they’re not giving up. I think he will give more in his next games because they have to stand up.”

But Tottenham legend, Hoddle criticized Saka’s interview, saying: “That’s interesting, because he was the skipper tonight.

“For me, he was really honest, really honest about saying they need to do better… blah blah blah. But his demeanour for me wasn’t right. Your attitude needs to be a bit more positive, he was very flat, very flat.”

Hoddle added: “I watch Arsenal when they play against Brentford and Wolves and I feel they’re starting to lose confidence.

“A few months ago they weren’t like that, they were confident and said, ‘we’re Arsenal and we’re going to win the title.’

“But they’re not sure about themselves and are feeling stressed, and it’s all about their mindset.

“They need to be tough and united to come back. It’s not a major turning point for Arsenal, but they need to begin again and try again. They need to play again, but now they’re unsure, and there’s definitely some doubt in their thoughts.

“They have a big bunch of games coming up. Unless they have results by the weekend, they will face difficulties.

“Arsenal’s next match is a big north London derby against Tottenham, who recently fired their manager, Thomas Frank, after their previous game.”
