Sevilla striker, Akor Adams says team’s success is more important than personal accolades, NEWSUNPLUG reports.
Akor registered an assist in Sevilla’s 1-0 away win over Getafe at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez on Sunday afternoon.
The 25-year-old teed up Djibril Sow for the winning goal in the 64th minute.
The striker has, however, failed to register a goal in his last four appearances for Sevilla.
Akor stated that the key thing is securing maximum points, and not the identity of the goal scorer.
“It doesn’t matter who scores, the important thing is that we accumulate points and keep a clean sheet,” he told the club’s official website.
He has registered six goals and three assists in 20 league appearances for the Rojiblancos this season.
