Big Brother Naija former housemate Uriel Oputa is blaming her Igbo mother following a compliment from a fan.

A fan had slid into her DM, gushing over how good-looking she is. The fan questions how she can be this beautiful and still be a good cook.

“How you come take fine as this comes still sabi cook”.

Responding to the compliment, Uriel told the fan to blame it on her Igbo mother, who didn’t give her a soft life. She revealed that she started cooking at the age of 9.

“Bae my Igbo mother.
She never gave me the soft life.
I started cooking at the age of 9″.
