Barau FC, head coach Rabiu Tata has assured that the team will work hard to finish the 2025-26 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, season in a strong position.
The Maliya Boys currently sit 13th on the NPFL table with 34 points from 27 matches.
The Kano-based club’s seven games unbeaten run was halted by Rivers United on Wednesday.
Barau FC will face Plateau United in a matchday 28 fixture this weekend in Kano, and Tata emphasized that their target is to secure maximum points.
“Now we’re 13th on the log. So we’re going home to work hard to ensure we get our three points against Plateau United,” Tata was quoted by Completesports.
“We will work harder to get a better placing on the log when the season comes to an end. That’s our objective for now.”
