The president’s son, Seyi Tinubu, has spoken out after he was dragged into the ongoing brawl between social media personalities, Very Dark Man and King Mitchy.
Newsunplug reported that during their banter, VDM accused Mitchy of being used as a political pawn to launder the image of President Bola Tinubu’s administration. In a video posted on his page, he claimed that her intervention in the education sector was politically motivated.
He later alleged in another video that both Seyi Tinubu and King Mitchy were threatening his life.
Speaking out, Seyi shared via his Instagram story that the allegations and insinuations made about him are false. He revealed he met Mitchy once, in a public setting, alongside others. According to him, he provided financial support for her NGO activities, as he has for many young Nigerians and organisations working to empower our people.
Seyi said there has been no secret arrangement and no impropriety of any kind between him and the socialite. He stated that he doesn’t like how he has been inserted into it and noted that VDM has been looking for an opportunity to attack him and damage his reputation.
The president’s son added that he wouldn’t be bullied and would not dignify fiction with panic.
