Manchester United captain, Bruno Fernandes has overtaken the club’s former player, David Beckham’s record for the Red Devils.
This comes after Fernandes scored a goal against Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Sunday.
Recall that two goals from Fernandes and Benjamin Sesko gave Michael Carrick’s side all three points against Palace at Old Trafford.
However, according to OptaJoe, Fernandes has scored and assisted in 18 different Premier League matches for Man United.
The Portugal midfielder overtook Beckham’s total for United (17), and now only trails Wayne Rooney (35) and Ryan Giggs (22).
Fernandes will hope to continue his impressive display for Man United when they face Newcastle next Wednesday.
