Dursun Özbek, president of Galatasaray, has ranked Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen as his second most admired striker at the club, following the legendary Metin Oktay.

Özbek emphasized the positive impact Osimhen had on Galatasaray’s success in securing the Turkish Super Lig title last season after his transfer from Napoli.

“After Metin Oktay, Victor Osimhen is the striker that excites me most among all strikers that have played in Galatasaray,” Özbek stated, as reported by Habersarikirmizi.

“We admire Osimhen even when we watch him in training. He performs as if he is in a match even there. We are afraid he might get injured.”

Osimhen has been impressive for Galatasaray so far this season. He led Galatasaray to win the Turkish Super Lig title last season.

The 27-year-old also helped Galatasaray to qualify for the Round of 16 of this season’s UEFA Champions League, where they will face Liverpool
