Arsenal have opened a seven-point lead at the top of the Premier League table, thanks to a 1-0 win at Brighton on Wednesday night.
The Gunners kicked off at the Amex the same time with Manchester City’s match against Nottingham Forest at the Etihad.
And it was the league leaders who took the lead, with Bukayo Saka forcing home a low effort.
Mikel Arteta’s men held on for all three points.
Antoine Semenyo gave City the lead with a smart finish, before Morgan Gibbs-White equalized with a deft finish.
Rodri restored City’s lead again, but Elliott Anderson produced a stunning finish to ensure Forest left with one point.
