Gunmen have k!lled the former caretaker chairman of Otukpo Local Government Area of Benue State, Honourable Udeh Ijachi, popularly known as Ukpem.
Ijachi was reportedly shot d3ad in front of Okabido Hotel in Otukpo on Thursday night, March 5, 2026.
It was gathered that the unknown assailants allegedly opened fire on him before fleeing the scene.
The shocking development has thrown residents of the area into panic, as people gathered around the scene shortly after the incident.
As of the time of filing this report, security agencies are yet to release an official statement regarding the attack.
