Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe has sympathised with her colleague, Faithia Williams, following the burial of her mother.
Newsunplug reported last month the Yoruba actress lost her mother on the eve of her 55th birthday party. She said the reality of her passing hasn’t fully sunk in because she was her cheerleader, prayer warrior, best friend, and gist partner.
On Saturday, March 7th, the actress’s mother was finally laid to rest on Saturday, March 7th, with a few of her colleagues in attendance.
Sharing a video of her consoling Faithia at the burial, Aigbe noted that she walked down a similar path herself and understands how painful it is.
She made the actress know that she is always in her heart and in her prayers, and asserted that mothers are truly a gift that never stops being missed.
“Today I stood beside my Big Sis @faithiawilliams as she laid her beloved mother to rest.
Having recently walked this painful path myself, I know how heavy this moment is.
May God grant her mum eternal rest and give you and your family the strength to carry on.
