Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry has named two clubs as favourites to win this season’s UEFA Champions League trophy ahead of Barcelona.
Henry expressed skepticism about Barcelona’s chances after their 1-1 draw with Newcastle United in the Round of 16 first leg at St. James’ Park on Tuesday night.
During an appearance on CBS Sports, the Frenchman also highlighted Bayern Munich’s superior balance in attack compared to Barcelona as he named the Bundesliga giants and Arsenal as the favourites to win the Champions League.
“Bayern Munich is way more balanced than Barcelona in terms of how they attack and shift places,” Henry said.
“Barcelona need to find that consistency and balance if they want to win the Champions League.
“But they don’t have that Balance sometimes and that makes me turn to Bayern and Arsenal as the favourites to win the Champions League.”
