Nollywood actress Liz Da Silva has reacted to the emotional interview of Papa Ajasco actor Abiodun Ayoyinka.
Newsunplug reported that the Papa Ajasco actor, in an interview with Lucky Udu, opened up about his financial hardships and the limitations he has faced in recent years. He revealed that the character he made famous is trademarked by the production company, preventing him from using his character for personal projects, endorsements, or advertisements.
Abiodun said he doesn’t have exclusive rights to the character and seeks permission even to reference it commercially. The actor, who retired five years ago from his role in the Lagos State Council for Arts and Culture, described his post-retirement life as extremely difficult. He said he doesn’t have a car at his house or a house of his own.

Reacting to it, Liz Da Silva expressed disdain in the trademarking of his name. She questioned if Abiodun was their brother, they would have done it.
The Yoruba actress said she has tried to reach out to him, but he hasn’t responded.
“@bondualaska_ is an account to follow now.
Hmmm, it’s well, that’s all I have to say, the most painful part in what I’ve listened to is that (HE DOESN’T HAVE THE FULL RIGHT TO THE NAME HE WORKED FOR)
Yes, an agreement must have been signed towards that, but all the same, if you had given him a little right of name, things wouldn’t have been this difficult for Uncle. I guess. If he were your brother, would you have kept the name PAPA AJASCO forever and forever?
KA SHA MA SE DADA, I’ve tried to reach him, but there’s no response. I’ll try again after church, as I’ve dropped my message on WhatsApp for him
There’s his number 08137808422″.
