Nasarawa Amazons have singled out defender, Joy Igbokwe for praise following their 1-0 win over Dannaz Ladies.
Onyekachi Deborah’s strike gave Nasarawa Amazons the victory over Dannaz Ladies in a keenly contested encounter at the Lafia City Stadium on Wednesday.
Igbokwe’s solidity in defence helped stop Dannaz Ladies from getting the equaliser in the game.
She was awarded the player of the match for her efforts.

Nasarawa Amazons closed the gap on Group B leaders Robo Queens who played out a 1-1 draw against Confluence Queens.
The Lafia-based side have garnered 22 points from 11 matches while Robo Queens have 25 points.
