Some Manchester City players have reacted to their 2-0 win against Arsenal in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday.

Recall that a brace from Nico O’Reilly ensured Pep Guardiola’s side defeated the Premier League leaders at Wembley Stadium.

Reacting, Man City winger Antoine Semenyo expressed happiness at winning his first trophy with the Cityzens.

“First trophy of many, I hope! God’s got a plan,” Semenyo told Sky Sports.

“It might not work out, you might not know why, but the answer always reveals itself.”

Also reacting, Man City goalkeeper James Trafford added, “It means a lot to have Pep Guardiola’s faith.

“It’s a testament to myself, I believe, through how I’ve acted in training and how I’ve acted in cup games. Every time I play, I give it my best shot and try to win.”

Similarly, O’Reilly, who won the Man of the Match Award, said: “A beautiful birthday weekend, a good one.”
