The Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL, has announced that Ekiti Queens can now return to their home ground in Ado-Ekiti following the successful completion of a venue sanction.

Ekiti Queens were banished to the Moshood Abiola Sports Arena, Abeokuta, Ogun State, in December
following a fan assault on match officials during their home clash with Edo Queens.

They have played their last three home games in Abeokuta.

Ekiti Queens will now host Pacesetter Queens in a matchday 12 encounter on Wednesday.

In a related development, the NWFL has lifted the spectator restriction previously imposed on Ibom Angels FC home fixtures in Uyo.

Spectators will be allowed into the stadium for the club’s home clash with Adamawa Queens
