Former Tottenham manager, Tim Sherwood, has admitted he is shocked that England manager Thomas Tuchel ignored Real Madrid’s Trent Alexander-Arnold and called up Arsenal’s Ben White.
Tuchel recently named England’s squad for their upcoming friendly against Japan and Uruguay, respectively, and didn’t include Alexander-Arnold in the squad.
Reacting to Alexander-Arnold’s exclusion from England’s squad, Sherwood told Sky Sports, “I’m shocked, but I’m pleased for Ben White.
Tuchel has picked thirty-seven players with White in the squad, and there is still no Alexander-Arnold.
“For me, That is incredible, I can’t understand that, but he is the manager.”
