Napoli striker, Rasmus Højlund, has aimed a cheeky dig at Manchester United after insisting that he now feels joy at the Serie A champions.
Speaking to TV2, the Denmark international said that he didn’t perform well at Man United, but insisted that things have now changed for him at Napoli.
Man United sent Højlund on loan to Napoli last year after he failed to impress at Old Trafford.
The 23-year-old had joined the Premier League club from Atalanta in 2023.
“If we look at the recent periods at Manchester United, I didn’t perform well. I’m aware of that, but now many things have changed,” Højlund told TV2.
“They even said I was finished in Denmark, but I never gave up. At Napoli, I feel joy again.”
