Chelsea’s midfielder Moises Caicedo has cleared the air concerning rumours that have been linked to Real Madrid in the past few weeks.

Caicedo, speaking during the international break with Ecuador reiterated his commitment to Chelsea Football Club. The midfielder made it clear that he remains fully focused on his role at Stamford Bridge and has no immediate plans to leave.

He emphasised that he is happy at Chelsea and determined to justify the club’s significant investment in him.

“I’ve seen the rumours, but I’m very happy here. Chelsea believed in me, and I want to give my best for this badge. I want to be a Chelsea legend. That’s my dream. I’m working every day to achieve that and give everything for this club.”

There are reports that Real Madrid were monitoring the 22-year-old as part of their long-term midfield plans, but Caicedo’s comments appear to have put those links to rest.

He has been fantastic since arriving from Brighton & Hove Albion, Caicedo has gradually established himself as a key figure in Chelsea’s midfield, showing his ball-winning ability and composure in possession. Caicedo’s latest statement underlines his intention to continue growing with Chelsea rather than seeking a move elsewhere.
