Three trafficked Nigerian girls have been rescued from Mali and returned home.

The victims, Linda, Bella and Joy, were rescued on March 25, 2026 by an anti-human trafficking organization, GAHTO, in collaboration with the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP)

The organization in a statement on Sunday, March 28, disclosed that the victims arrived Nigeria safely and have been reunited with their families.

“The three victims of human trafficking ( Linda, Joy and Bella) rescued by GAHTO few days ago from Mali arrived safely. They were happy to have regained their freedom and have reunited with their families as NAPTIP Lagos Zonal Command continue with their investigation,” the statement read.

“It is no longer a child’s play the rate our young girls are becoming victims of Trafficking daily. Parent are strongly advised to watch over their children. No girl worth to be trafficked for S3xual Exploitation.”
