Nigerian media personality Do2dtun has reacted to the trending video of Nollywood actresses Funke Akindele and Iyabo Ojo.
Newsunplug reported that at Iyabo Ojo’s movie premiere on Sunday, Funke had snubbed Toyin’s greetings. In a viral clip, Funke was captured sitting with Iyabo Ojo and Mercy Aigbe when Toyin walked to greet them. Many were surprised when Funke ignored Toyin’s greeting, leaving Toyin embarrassed.

Reacting to it on Twitter, Do2dtun admonished the public to know whom they greet and whom they will never greet before leaving their house. According to him, one should know one’s enemies, colleagues, acquaintances and friends.
He said if they don’t, they should treat it the way one treats social media antics. He stressed that one should follow those who rate them and block those who don’t.
“Before you leave your house, know the people you will greet and will never greet. You truly know your enemies: colleagues, acquaintances and friends. If you don’t, then treat it the way you treat your social media antics. Follow who you rate, like who you like and block who you don’t. Apply it in real life
Life.
People need to start understanding that when we don’t greet each other, the world never stops moving. It never ends. We don’t even acknowledge our wins or congratulate each other, even when we are supposed to. So why would I greet you, or greet me, in real life?
I won’t fake it if I don’t like you. I’ll stand on business. If you greet me, I greet you, and if the beef is eternal, if you greet me, I won’t greet you. Maturity can also allow me to protect my peace. It’s like saying I see that fool and I’ll greet him or he does, I ain’t returning the favour. Let’s not pretend.
You need to normalise ignoring people who don’t respect you or rate you. You need to understand that not everyone can like you. I’d rather you respect me, and it also starts with keeping your distance rather than faking it, especially if I know your ways don’t sit well with mine. I won’t even come near you ever.
No one has the monopoly on madness”.
“I SAID WHAT I SAID SHOULD ALSO MEAN I DID WHAT I DID IN SOME THINGS IN LIFE. UNA TOO LIKE FAKE LOVE FOR THIS INDUSTRY. FIND YOUR REAL FRIENDS AND BE UNAPOLOGETIC ABOUT SUPPORTING THEM GENUINELY. EVERYBODY GO MEET FOR FRONT. WE NEED TO STOP SEEKING VALIDATION FROM EVERYONE… IREEE O!”.
