Nollywood stars are speaking out following the recent killings in Jos.
Newsunplug reported on Palm Sunday that Fulani gunmen reportedly opened fire without mercy on a community in Angwa Rukuba, Jos.

Speaking up, Stella Damasus expressed her heartbreak over the news. She questioned how one can’t protect their children and themselves from the attacks.
“My heart breaks. I know it’s not enough to talk about it, but I honestly don’t know where to start or what to do anymore. How do we protect our children and ourselves?. This concerns all of us as long as we are Nigerians and live in Nigeria”.
Celebrity stylist Toyin Lawani noted how beautiful Jos is as a state; unfortunately, the constant killings have ruined it. She questioned when all the killings would stop for political games.
“Nigeria doesn’t consist of Lagos only. Horrible things are happening daily to our fellow brothers and sisters in various cities.
Just take a look at how beautiful Jos is, but the constant killings have ruined it.
Palm Sunday, meant to be a joyful day, turned out to be a sorrowful one for parents.
God, it’s all in your hands.
When are all these unnecessary killings going to stop for political games ??
So sad and heartbreaking,
Unprovoked violence against innocent people,
God, when will these stop?
I pray to God to give all the families of everyone affected the strength to deal with the pain,
Nigeria needs help”.
Chidi Mokeme prayed for Jos, Benue, Kwara, Niger, Zamfara, Bornu, Nigeria and Southern Kaduna. He stated that the government has failed them and encouraged them to hold on till a new dawn.
“Stay Strong, Jos.
Stay Strong, Benue.
Stay Strong, Kwara.
Stay Strong, Niger.
Stay Strong, Zamfara.
Stay Strong Bornu.
Stay Strong, Southern Kaduna.
The government of the day has failed you once again, like the ones before them.
Hold on. Resist. Keep your voice loud till a New Dawn.
May the souls of the departed rest in peace”.
Kunle Afod noted that we have prayed, sought, begged, and yet things are still happening. The Yoruba actor revealed that he was schooled in Jos and is heartbroken over the devastating news.
“Hmmm
We have prayed
We have seek
We have begged
Yet yet yet
I schooled in Jos
Jos again
Palm Sunday
We stand and pray for Jos at this moment”.
