Galatasaray striker, Victor Osimhen, took to his Instagram account to celebrate Turkey’s qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Recall that Turkey booked its place at the summer World Cup on Tuesday,
Turkey won 1-0 against Kosovo in Pristina to qualify for the World Cup, thanks to Kerem Akturkoglu’s second-half goal.
They were one of four teams to secure a spot through the European playoffs, alongside Sweden, the Czech Republic and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Turkey’s qualification is a historic achievement for the nation as they make their first return to the Mundial since 2002.

However, after the game, Osimhen took to his social media account to repost a photo of his Galatasaray teammate, defender Abdulkerim Bardakci, waving the Turkish flag in celebration.
The Super Eagles attacker captioned the post with “clapping hands and a heart emoji.”
