Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has written a note to Africans.
In an Instagram post, he admonished Africans to copy only a few positive things from Western culture. However, we shouldn’t lose our identity, tradition, and religion.
Yul noted how our identity is our power, and we should be proudly and unapologetically African.
“It’s ok to copy a few positive ways from Oyibo culture.
But we must never lose our African identity in the process.
We must never lose our African tradition or African religion.
Our identity is our power.
Be proudly and unapologetically African”.
