Sandra Iheuwa, the babymama of talent manager Ubi Franklin, has called for the arrest of Blessing CEO.
In an Instagram post, she noted how her aunt died of stage 4 breast cancer, and she watched her suffer until her last breath. She said she saw firsthand what this disease does to a human being, the pain, the physical changes, and the emotional weight on the entire family.
As such, it is deeply disturbing to her that Blessing claimed to have it as part of a Monday publicity-raising narrative. She called her action beyond unacceptable.
“My father’s sister, my aunt, died of stage 4 cancer, and I watched her suffer until her last breath. I saw firsthand what this disease does to a human being: the pain, the physical changes, the emotional weight on the entire family. It is an experience that never leaves you. Even now, it shapes how I think and how I respond to anything related to cancer.
That is why it is deeply disturbing to hear Blessing CEO claiming to have stage 4 breast cancer as part of a money-raising charity or publicity narrative. This is beyond unacceptable. Cancer isn’t a tool for content, sympathy, or financial gain. It is a life-threatening illness that millions of people are genuinely battling every single day, while families watch their loved ones suffer in real pain.
There are real patients right now fighting for survival, going through chemotherapy, losing strength, dignity, and hoping for just one more chance at life. Turning something like that into a story for attention crosses a serious moral line.
I lost my aunt to this disease. My family carries that pain forever. So I cannot stay silent when cancer is treated lightly or allegedly used in ways that disrespect the suffering of real patients.
