A Nigerian lawyer, Olakiitan Bolu Agbanje, has petitioned the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC, over relationship therapist, Blessing CEO.

The lawyer, in an interview with TVC News, called for authorities to apprehend the self-acclaimed relationship therapist for receiving money under pretences.

The lawyer, whose daughter is battling cancer, shared her painful experience with the deadly disease, revealing how she felt when she found out about it, how she almost went mãd, went into deep research and took measures to save her daughter, hence, why she doesn’t take cancer jokes lightly.

She urged the EFCC in her petition, which she also directed to the Lagos Directorate, to ensure justice is served. She admonished them to investigate why the therapist demanded the money.

“I know how I felt when my daughter had cancer. I almost ran mãd, and I know the research that went into it and what steps we took.

If it wasn’t for the cause it was meant, we need to know. If, in fact, this person is even sick. This person has the money to take care of themselves, yet they go to the public to ask for funds; that’s a form of fraud”.
