Nollywood actor Damola Olatunji has reacted to popular clergyman, Apostle Chibuzor’s desire to marry off his adopted autistic daughter.
Weeks after marrying off his autistic son, the founder of Omega Power Ministry OPM, via his Facebook page, announced that he is searching for a paid husband for his autistic daughter.
Sharing a photo of his daughter, who was dressed in a white turtle neck top and a red skirt, he identified her as Chiemeka Chibuzor and noted that she is 21 years old. The Apostle clarified that she can speak and hear without difficulty despite her condition.
The Apostle listed the benefits for any man who would marry his daughter. According to him, the person must be young and in good physical and mental health.
He listed the perks the couple would enjoy, including financial assistance for life and a permanently provided home. Apostle Chibuzor said another property would be constructed in both their names, and ministry staff would make occasional visits without prior notice to ensure she is well cared for.

Reacting to it, Damola said the situation has crossed a line and should be addressed seriously. He explained that marriage is a decision that requires full, informed consent from both parties.
He admonished the clergyman to focus on establishing a proper care home, noting that most 21-year-olds wouldn’t want to get married without external influence.
Olatunji clamoured that vulnerable people shouldn’t be exploited, as they deserve dignity, protection, and better structured support systems. He added that there are far more ethical and effective ways to provide care and support for individuals with autism.
