Streamer and former Big Brother Naija winner Ijeoma Otebor has announced that she will no longer be collaborating with content creator and livestream personality Carter Efe.
During a recent live session, Phyna explained that her decision was based on what she described as a one-sided working relationship. According to her, communication between them has become unbalanced, with Carter Efe only reaching out when it benefits his own streaming platforms.
She alleged that despite several attempts in the past to connect with him via messages and calls, she often received no response. However, she claimed he tends to initiate contact when he needs her involvement in his own content.
Phyna stated that she previously made efforts to work with him, but those attempts were largely ignored. She added that their past collaborations had helped boost his audience numbers significantly, but the communication issues remained unresolved.
Recounting her experience, she said she used to reach out through WhatsApp, but her messages were frequently left unanswered. In her words, she suggested that he only responds when it suits his streaming plans.
She also recalled a recent encounter during a joint broadcast with fellow streamer Jarvis, where she confronted him about not picking up her calls.
Despite the fallout, Phyna emphasized that she is still open to working with other digital creators. However, she made it clear that she has no intention of initiating any future collaborations with Carter Efe.
She described her decision as final, stating that she would rather focus on other partnerships within the online streaming space.
Following her comments, reactions have trailed social media, with users divided—some supporting her decision, while others argued that the situation may be more complex than presented.
