Award-winning Nigerian singer Asake has opened up about a major decision he made early in his career, revealing why he chose to step away from dancing despite his deep passion for it.

Speaking candidly, the “Lonely At The Top” crooner disclosed that although dancing remains something he genuinely loves, financial ambition influenced his decision to focus on music instead.

“I love dancing so much, I can’t do without dancing, but the truth is I had to leave it because of my love for money because I know the type of money I want dancing can’t give me,” Asake said.

Before rising to fame in the Nigerian music industry, Asake was widely known for his energetic dance moves and performances, which earned him recognition on social media and in entertainment circles.

However, his transition into music proved to be a turning point, eventually leading to mainstream success, hit songs, and international recognition.
