Fulham star, Alex Iwobi, has chosen Inter Miami captain Lionel Messi as the greatest of all time (GOAT) ahead of Al-Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo.
During an appearance on the Beast Mode On podcast, the Nigerian midfielder was put on the spot to pick between the two legends.
His answer came without hesitation: Messi.
“I always say Messi,” Iwobi stated. Explaining his choice, he added, “Playing against Ronaldo, the aura was crazy.
“But when I played against Messi, every time he had the ball, there was like a radius where no one could enter that and tackle him.”
While Ronaldo has five Ballon d’Or titles to his name, Messi leads the rivalry with eight, further cementing his case in Iwobi’s eyes.
