Former Premier League player and manager, Tim Sherwood, has named Chelsea boss, Liam Rosenior as the next manager to be sacked in the Premier League.

He said that Chelsea will terminate Rosenior’s contract following the 3-0 loss to Brighton on Tuesday evening.

Brighton emerged as worthy victors at the Amex Stadium, with goals scored by Ferdi Kadioglu, Jack Hinshelwood, and Danny Welbeck.

This defeat signifies that Chelsea has now experienced five league losses without finding the back of the net for the first time since 1912.

In the second half, Chelsea fans voiced their discontent towards the club’s BlueCo ownership and demanded Rosenior’s dismissal.

Despite Chelsea’s assertion that there are no intentions to relieve Rosenior of his duties, Sherwood believes that the 41-year-old is likely to be let go from Stamford Bridge.

“It was a team competing against a collection of individuals lacking spirit and character,” Sherwood remarked to Sky Sports.

“I observed them at the conclusion approaching the Chelsea supporters, with half of them having departed the stadium approximately 20 minutes prior; it was effectively over after the second goal was scored.

“They employed a five-man defense in the first half, and it was embarrassing how much space Brighton had; the second half showed slight improvement at the beginning.

“He [Rosenior] was fortunate that at halftime the score was only one [goal]; Garnacho entered the game and contributed more in offensive areas, but once they conceded the second goal to Hinshelwood, an academy player who has played in every position on the field, he excelled as a full-back, performed well in midfield, and played as a No.10 tonight, he was exceptional.

“I dislike stating this, but there are protests occurring and flags displayed against BlueCo; he will not endure this, Liam Rosenior will not endure this, regrettably for him.

“It is an extremely challenging task for any manager to step in and alter the atmosphere because these Chelsea supporters have been raised on winning trophies, the most prestigious trophies, alongside the greatest players. It’s a development club.”

Chelsea suffered a 1-0 defeat to Manchester United last weekend and are now doubtful of securing a Champions League place next season.
