A woman fell 50 feet to her d£ath at the Indianapolis airport over the weekend, officials said.
The woman, identified only as a 38-year-old, was at the Indianapolis International Airport on Saturday, April 25, around 12:15 p.m. when she fell from the outside edge of the Upper Terminal Drive.
First responders performed life-saving measures for 30 minutes, but the woman succumbed to her injuries.
The fall was witnessed by dispatchers who were monitoring the airport’s security cameras. They saw the woman fall from the upper deck to the grassy area below.
It was unclear why the woman was on the outside edge of the terminal deck or why she fell.
The Marion County Coroner’s office arrived at the scene just before 2 p.m. to investigate the cause of d£ath.
