The N50 million All Progressives Congress governorship nomination papers for the 2027 Ogun State election have been picked up by Senator Solomon Adeola, also known as Yayi, who represents Ogun West Senatorial District.

According to PUNCH Online, the documents were acquired on his behalf, indicating his candidacy for the state’s highest office.

On Tuesday in Abuja, Adeola’s proxy received the Expression of Interest and Nomination papers from Suleiman Argungu, the APC National Organizing Secretary, who also declared the process open.

Remember that the gubernatorial and State Houses of Assembly elections will take place on Saturday, February 6, 2027, while the Presidential and National Assembly elections are set for Saturday, January 16, 2027, according to the Independent National Electoral Commission.
