Businessman and philanthropist Olakunle Churchill has continued to speak out on his broken marriage to Rosy Meurer.
Hours ago, he said that there is no basis for Rosy to file for notice on the hearing for the dissolution of their marriage as they were never legally married. He also dismissed the notion that Rosy stood by him while his ex-wife, actress, Tonto Dikeh, dragged him online while he fought for the custody of their son, King Andre. He noted how anyone else could have stood by him if Rosy weren’t in his life.
In another post, he made it clear that Rosy was never friends with Tonto nor did she snatch someone’s husband. He noted how such a narrative was purely online speculations and he understands that this was a major source of distress for her.
Churchill said Rosy allowed online pressure to influence her decisions and she also listened to individuals who lack a proper understanding of the media space..
“From the beginning, the major narrative pushed online was that she took someone else’s partner and was friends with that person. This is not true.
She was never friends with Tonto, and Tonto herself never made such a claim before I met Rosy. These were purely online speculations, and I understand that this was a major source of distress for her.
Rosy allowed online pressure to influence her decisions and she also listened to individuals who lacked a proper understanding of the media space.
Unfortunately, some people project their own failures onto their themes and offer misguided advice”.
In another post, he said it is his responsibility to fix what needs to be fixed and to ensure that all his children know one another and live in Unity.
“As a man, it is my responsibility to fix what needs to be fixed and to ensure that all my children know one another and live in Unity.
Who prays to be replaced in their child’s life? Who expects another man to step in as a father during a child’s 10th birthday celebration? The next time my child is being celebrated, I will be present.
I understand that a lot is going on. I take responsibility and I am aware that there is still much work to be done”.
