Mikel Arteta has provided a fresh update on Arsenal’s injury situation ahead of their crucial Premier League clash against Fulham.

Arteta confirmed that Kai Havertz and Jurrien Timber are ruled out of the upcoming match. According to reports, he is dealing with an upper-leg issue, while Timber remains sidelined with a longer-term problem.

There is uncertainty around Martin Ødegaard, who picked up a knock in the Champions League. Arteta suggested there is still hope he could be available, but his condition will be assessed closer to kickoff.

Despite the injuries, Arteta indicated that the situation is being managed carefully, especially with Arsenal balancing domestic and European commitments. The supporters of the Gunners will hope they can continue their winning ways when the face Fulham in the London derby.

Arsenal will need to rely on squad depth as they continue their push for silverware. While injuries have presented challenges, Arteta remains hopeful that some players will return soon to strengthen the team during this decisive phase of the campaign. The North London club currently lead the Premier League table as they continue in their quest to win the first Premier League title in more than two decades.
