Governor Adeleke of Osun State has released a statement following Davido’s visit to the state amid his appointment.
Newsunplug reported last month that the singer was appointed Youth Mobilisation for the campaign council backing his uncle, Ademola Adeleke, in his re-election as Osun State Governor.
Confirming the appointment via his Twitter page, Davido expressed excitement at helping his uncle run a smooth campaign.
As part of his appointment, Davido had visited Osun State, where he was royally received.
During a press conference, Governor Adeleke officially welcomed him to his home and into their campaign. He noted how Davido brings energy, influence, and passion, and is what they need to mobilise and inspire their vibrant youth population.
