Former Manchester United captain, Roy Keane, has once again kicked against the club appointing Michael Carrick on a permanent basis.
Carrick was brought in on an interim basis in January this year, after the Red Devils decided to part ways with Ruben Amorim.
Since then, the 44-year-old has led United back into the Champions League, with the team set to finish in third place.
But Keane is still not convinced Carrick is the man to lead the team forward, as rival managers won’t be worried.
Speaking on Stick to Football, Keane said: “If you are Pep Guardiola or Mikel Arteta and you are on holiday, sitting on their yachts.
“And they see Michael Carrick getting announced as Manchester United manager, do you think they will become fearful of him?”
