Big Brother Naija Level Up winner Phyna has cried out following the release of her colleague, Ilebaye’s father.
Hours ago, the Level Up housemate had cried out for help over an alleged domestic abuse. In a disturbing Instagram live video, she cried out to Nigerians to help her after a man was seen beating her. The reality star was assaulted so severely that her face became badly swollen.

The abuse happened at her father’s residence at Royal Anchor Estate, Wuye, Abuja, in the early hours of today, May 9th.

Following the viral video, the FCT Police Command had arrested her father, Emmanuel Odiniya. The command spokesperson, Josephine Adeh, speaking to Linda Ikeji blog, said the command received a report about the assault at about 12 am.
She mentioned that she and a patrol team from Wuye Division, supported by operatives of the Department of Operations of the FCT Police Command, visited the scene. She told LIB that, upon arrival, officers found the gate to the residence locked. After several attempts to deny them access, including releasing fierce-looking dogs, the police gained access to the compound at about 2:30 am and found Ilebaye with visible bruises. She was rescued alongside her brothers and rushed to the NNPC Hospital in Abuja, where she received medical attention.
In an update to the case, Phyna, via her Twitter page, said her father has been released and that two of her younger brothers have returned to him. The reality star questioned what kind of style they were using, noting that they did no investigation and allowed him to go home.
“Baye’s dad just got released and the 2 younger brothers given back to him…. Please, what kind of style is this one, no investigation, no proper investigation, you left him to go home. Nigerian police”.
