Nigerian singer Jaywon Juwonlo has knocked Emmanuel Odiniya, the father of former BBNaija housemate Ilebaye.
Hours ago, her father had broken his silence on his alleged abuse of her. He claimed that the reality star was influencing her siblings with drugs, wasn’t financially supporting the family and was on a self-destructive path.
Explaining the viral video, he said he hit her out of frustration and recalled how Ilebaye financially abandoned him during his medical check-up in Dubai. He also said the reality star was fighting him over the decision to divorce her mother, after initially supporting him.
In his emotional tell-all, he pleaded with Nigerians to forgive and let him settle it offline.
Speaking out, Jaywon, via his Instagram story, questioned what her father expected after sending a girl child to the BBN house. He pointed out the irony of sending her to the house, yet he was complaining that she was taking hard drugs.
Jaywon asked whether the father thought she was going into the house for Bible study. He noted how there isn’t anything positive a girl child can learn from the reality show.
The singer questioned how he could hurt someone to the point that her body and face were distorted. He expressed disappointment at how people were enabling and defending his abuse.
“Papa wey fit send pikin go Big Brother House dey complain sey she dey take hard drugs. Dem tell you say na Bible studies dem dey go there to learn, or is there anything positive for a girl child in the BBN house?
How can you hurt someone to the point her face looks like that and still call it discipline?
Even people caught stealing on the street are not treated that way. The scary part is seeing people defend this kind of evil”.
