Nigerian disc jockey Dorcas Fapson is demanding justice for her late dog.
Sharing photos and clips of her with the dog, she disclosed that at 3am on Wednesday, her personal assistant called her crying, telling her that her dog had died in a pet store.
She noted how her dog was fine and said the autopsy showed there was blood in her throat. Calling out the pet store, she questioned how a healthy dog can die in a place that’s supposed to protect and care for animals.
To make matters worse, the owner offered her N500,000 as a gesture, even though she had spent more than that trusting her dog in their care. Expressing heartbreak over her dog’s demise, she demanded answers over her dog’s death.
“3am yesterday, my PA called me crying, telling me my dog, my Bailey baby that I trusted in the care of @pawandpaws_petstore, is dead.
A happy, healthy 1-year-old dog gone just like that, with no explanation.
