The Zimbabwe Football Association, ZIFA, has canvassed for support for the Warriors ahead of the team’s participation in the Unity Cup, NEWSUNPLUG reports.
Zimbabwe will be up against the Super Eagles in the semi-final at the Valley, London on Tuesday, 26 May.
The winner will face either India or Jamaica in the final on the same ground on Saturday, 31 May.
Head coach Kaitano Tembo unveiled his 24-man squad for the friendly invitational tournament on Tuesday.
The ZIFA tasked the fans to show support to the team by wearing the national colours.
“A night of pride, passion and African football excellence awaits as Zimbabwe’s finest take centre stage in the UK,” reads a statement on ZIFA’s X account.
“Diaspora family, this is your moment to rally behind the Warriors and paint The Valley in Zimbabwean colours.”
