Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede has weighed in on a trending video of a teacher being slaughtered.
Newsunplug reported that the Mathematics teacher in Oyo State, identified as Michael Oyedokun, was allegedly slaughtered by Fulani terrorists.

Taking to her Instagram page, Yvonne expressed sadness over the news, noting how only a certain group of people are complaining when everyone should.
She noted that the bloodlust is getting stronger and that people are no longer angry enough to call out the government. Describing the recent events as inhumane, she expressed concern that people aren’t standing up to it.

“It is sad that when I look at the news, it looks like it is only a certain group of people that are complaining when it is supposed to be ALL OF US. This is not good for us, not in the eyes of man, not in the eyes of God (because nobody calls God more than us), not in the eyes of humanity, not even economically. I don’t see this angering us enough to speak out against it without fear. This should scare you more. This blood thirst is getting closer than we think.
This is inhumane in a country where we don’t have ambulances, toll-free numbers, or proper healthcare facilities. I am worried why we are not all standing against this. Are we now ok with this? Nigerians, is this the new standard?”.
