A woman has sparked reactions after she narrated a family vase she’s handling.
She took to Facebook to share the story, explaining that a husband married his wife and left her in Nigeria while he travelled abroad.
He rarely ever came home and when he did, he stayed for inky short periods.
When he became sick and the family he had abroad abandoned him, he was brought back for the Nigerian wife to care for him until he di£d.
Upon his de@th, it was discovered that he willed nothing to the wife who cared for him. The Nigerian wife’s biological son who got the properties is now asking his mother to leave the house his father willed to him and the mother is now challenging the validity of the will.
Sharing the story, the author of the post wrote: “This case I’m handling..
“Husband moved to the US in 1985, leaving the wife and 3 tender kids here. Came back for the first time in year 2000; 15 years after.. Stayed for a month, went back, stayed another 8 years, came back and spent 3 months in Nigeria burying his parents, went back again and stayed till 2019 when he was relocated back to Nigeria. And through these years, he left his wife here who singlehandedly raised their kids; no help, no emotional comfort, no support. Just her and her God.
“Now, he was not just brought back, he came back with stroke, HBP, an enlarged prostrate and diabetes that left him bedridden.
“Again, he only agreed to come back after his abroad wife abandoned him and took off with the kids the marriage produced.
“Guess who nursed him from 2019 till he died last year.. His wife.
“Guess also, who purportedly made a will and handed everything to his sons( the wife is currently challenging validity of the will)… The man..
“Now, guess who is asking the woman to vacate their home and move to the village so they can sell the property off.. The sons…”
She added: “Someone wrote here a while ago that some men don’t like women, they just love the idea of them. They just want a caregiver, a reproductive machine, a cleaner and the rest. And honestly, I couldn’t agree more..
“I can’t tell you what to make of this story, but as a woman, please be selfish. Love everyone else, but please love yourself more! You won’t be causing any disservice to yourself if you do!”
