Francis Uzoho will captain the Super Eagles in tonight’s Unity Cup semi-final encounter against the Warriors of Zimbabwe, NEWSUNPLUG reports.
Uzoho is the most senior player in camp following the absence of the regular captain, Wilfred Ndidi, and another experienced member of the team, Moses Simon.
The Omonia Nicosia goalkeeper was also on media duty with head coach Éric Chelle on Monday.
The 27-year-old has been capped 37 times by Nigeria.
Wrexham’s Arthur Okonkwo and Ikorodu City star Michael Atata are the other goalkeepers in camp.
Tonight’s encounter will kick off at 7.30 pm Nigeria time.
