A Nigerian youth has sparked reactions online after sharing a video in which he warned individuals he believes may attempt to undermine the electoral process during the 2027 general elections.

In the video, he specifically addressed electoral officials and youth corps members working with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), alleging that some officials falsely claim that card readers are malfunctioning during elections.

According to him: “Youth corper working for INEC but you dey tell masses say ‘card reader is not working’, you go collect. 2027 we are not coming to joke!”

He further warned electoral officers and other stakeholders involved in the electoral process, stressing that they must ensure the will of the people is respected and reflected in election outcomes.

The video has generated discussion on social media, with users expressing varying opinions on the remarks and the broader issue of electoral transparency ahead of the 2027 elections.
