Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s daughter is the granddaughter of the current British monarch, King Charles. She was born on June 4 2021, in the US and named Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.

She became entitled to use the title Princess only when King Charles acceded to the throne, under rules set out by King George V in 1917.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle began using the titles Prince and Princess for Archie and Lili after Lilibet’s christening in 2023, following correspondence with King Charles about the matter.
